Probably more than a decade ago, Cory told me off for letting this blog fall off the internet and become yet more linkrot. I always felt a bit guilty about that, but never quite got round to fixing it. But partially inspired by Danny and his oh so sleek ALMNCK, now me and my new codependent buddy Claude Code grabbed all the old posts from the Internet Archive, fixed up the broken links where we could, linked to the archive when we needed to, and basically rather shonkily stood the whole thing up again. So you get a bit of a snapshot of what I was like when I was a whippersnapper. Beware.
We took care to put the articles back at their old urls. I'm justing waiting for the traffic to come flooding in. But yeah, one less dead website.
There's some cleanup left to do, and the plan is to make this into Corpse Reviver - a generic tool for extracting dead blogs from the archive and standing them up again.
